The first few months of 2010 has seen the arrival of the Winter Olympics to Vancouver and for me a slew of travels and some new equipment from my photo supplier in NY.  The spring has a soft soothing way of revitalizing us as we slowly warm towards the summer. The events in the spring have been coming at us at a fast pace with many memorable events and occasions. These memories should be captured for keepsakes and MrHardwood Photography is the perfect method of capturing these moments.

The specials for May and June are the following four packages. Each package is designed for a single person or couple (limited to two individuals). For additional friends, please contact me for special rates as extra time will need to be allocated for those sessions.

The Tulip Package   $250.00~ This package is a excellent starter package. I will come to your location and bring all of my gear with me to do the session (additional Travel Charges may be applicable). As part of this special, I would make you one of my portfolio models and I will require a model release to be signed for my use of some of the images.

• This would be a 3 hour session covering a range of looks and styles.
• You will get a Contact Sheet of all the select images for your reference.
• You will select from the Contact Sheet  the 10 images that you love the most. These will be made in to 8×10 prints.
• As an added bonus, I will include low res digital files of the 10 images for uploading to your favorite sharing sites

The Lily Package   $450.00~ This package is the same package but in this case, the images are kept private for your eyes only. I will come to your location and bring all of my gear with me to do the session (additional Travel Charges may be applicable).

• This would be a 3 hour session covering a range of looks and styles.
• You will get a Contact Sheet of all the select images for your reference.
• You will select from the Contact Sheet  the 10 images that you love the most. These will be made in to 8×10 prints.
• As an added bonus, I will include low res digital files of the 10 images for uploading to your favorite sharing sites

The Rose Package   $700.00~ This package is the all images package. I will come to your location and bring all of my gear with me to do the session (additional Travel Charges may be applicable).

• This would be a minimum of 4 hour  covering a range of looks and styles.
• You will get a Contact Sheet of all the select images for your reference.
• You will select from the Contact Sheet  the 20 images that you love the most. These will be made in to 8×10 prints.
• As an added bonus, I will include low res digital files of all the images for uploading to your favorite sharing sites

The Beach/Dungeon Package   $500.00~ This package is the all images package. We will go to a beach or Dungeon of my choice and I will bring all of my gear with me to do the session. If you are wanting to do suspensions or bondage, a rigger is available with notice.

• This would be a minimum of 4 hour  covering a range of looks and styles.
• You will get a Contact Sheet of all the select images for your reference.
• You will select from the Contact Sheet  the 20 images that you love the most. These will be made in to 8×10 prints.
• As an added bonus, I will include low res digital files of all the images for uploading to your favorite sharing sites

We’ve had a few requests for shoots, so we have decided to post a Christmas Special for Festive Photo Sessions.

Partial Proceeds will go to our charity of choice! This year our charity is NILMDTS.

We will be offering a three hour Photo Session, One Digital Contact Sheet, and Two- 8×10 (or smaller sized) prints for $220.00.  We limit the number of people for a sitting at yourself and two friends. Any addition friends that you want to shoot with in the same session will require an additional time fee, because your shoot will need addition time to cover the images with your friends.

All shoots need to be booked by Nov 20th and shoots to take place prior to Dec 14th to ensure images will be ready for Christmas. Offer subject to black out dates and photographer’s availability.

Here are some of the questions and answers that we feel will help resolve some of your questions and for your shoot, you will know 100% what to expect from a session at  Mr. Hardwood Photography:

1. Why do I need to meet for a consultation before a shoot: After your initial contact for a shoot, we will schedule you to come in for an in-depth consultation. We are all investing heavily into your personal desires and we want to ensure that we create images that  goes beyond anything you have ever dreamed of.  The consultation will be at our studio where we will have  an opportunity to learn what you and your likes and dislikes. We cater the shoots to fulfill your ultimate fantasies, so the more time we meet for, the more information we can apply to your shoot.
2. How long is a shoot: A typical shoot is scheduled for 2-3 hours. This allows for ample set up time and wardrobe changes throughout the session. If a Make Up Artist is on set to assist, we suggest adding extra time allowance for the MUA to do their work and to make your session as special as possible.
3. How many images are taken during a session: Our job is to ensure that we take as many shots as needed. You are never charged by the pure number of captures that we take, but we rather shoot more, then to regret not shooting enough afterwards. A greater number of captures means that we can be very strict over the images and  present to you only the best of the best. The final number of images that you would see after your shoot is usually in the range of 10-30 images.
4. What is the turn around time: We will try to get you your images ready for your viewing and order session within two weeks. After two weeks, you are more than welcome to message us to be updated with a new expected viewing date for your images. Please do not message us before the two weeks or you will be disrupting our strict workflow and causing further delaying everyone images, including yours.
5. What happens to the images that I do not order: Images that are not ordered are archived in the event you change your mind. We will keep the images for a limit period of time. After such time that you have not contacted us for orders, those images will be deleted. There are instances where orders are not deleted after a period of time, but those are the exception, not the rule.
6. I want all the images from the session, unphotoshopped so that I can photoshop it myself: We can not sell you images that are unedited. Please do not ask for images so that you can photoshop them on your own. If you wanted to do that you should not have come to us for the photography. You hired Mr. Hardwood Photography to create images for you and that is our business to create those breathe taking images for you.
